PayPay’s New FinTech and Financial Business
– Changing the User Experience –

Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the event will be held online

This event, scheduled for July 21, was originally planned to be a hybrid event with online distribution of the real venue, but in light of the recent spread of infection, we have decided to hold the event online only.

We apologize for this decision to those who were looking forward to coming to the event.

We hope to make this an enjoyable online meeting, and we look forward to your continued participation online!

We welcome everyone who wants to create a financial platform of the next generation with breathtaking speed!

PayPay is a FinTech company that provides a service enjoyed by over 47 million users (as of April 2022), merely 3 years since its launch in 2018. The company is now home to a very diverse team of members from more than 40 countries. We grew to a team of several thousand employees but are far from over. We are still in the making.
Every day, new members join us from all over the world to create new value and deliver it to society.

This event is a three-night recruiting event for the professionals who will be creating PayPay’s business together. The event will feature a panel discussion by members who have been creating PayPay since the nascent days of the company. They will also talk about the business vision and corporate culture that PayPay strives for.

We are also a fully remote company, so you can work from any location in Japan and choose your own workplace. You can live in a rural area and still earn a Tokyo-level salary with benefits while working with world-class colleagues. PayPay is a fantastic place to design your workstyle.

We invite you to join the event from anywhere in Japan or the world.

Japan lags behind in going cashless. While such opinion is fairly common, PayPay is growing every day with new colleagues to bring change to the Japanese financial market. We see cash as a competitor, and our project to change people’s lives through cashless transactions is just the beginning. In this session, we will introduce PayPay as it currently stands and what is actually happening behind the scenes of service development. This will include uncommon topics, such as “how to realize user-first FinTech services” and “how to develop financial services involving both internal and external parties.”

19:15~19:50

Finally, we will discuss the challenges that PayPay’s Financial Business Department is currently facing, as well as the future outlook.
